Juniper-SRX320
The Juniper Networks SRX320 is a compact next-generation firewall and secure services gateway designed for small branch offices, retail locations, and distributed enterprise networks. It combines firewall security, routing, switching, VPN, and SD-WAN capabilities in a desktop platform with 8 × 1GbE RJ45 ports and 2 × 1GbE SFP ports, delivering up to 1.9 Gbps firewall throughput and supporting up to 64,000 concurrent sessions.
Description
The Juniper SRX320 is an enterprise-grade next-generation firewall (NGFW) and secure services gateway designed to provide comprehensive network security and connectivity for small branch offices and distributed enterprise environments.
The SRX320 provides 10 built-in Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, consisting of 8 × 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports and 2 × 1GbE SFP ports. This combination provides flexible copper and fiber connectivity for computers, switches, servers, wireless access points, WAN links, and other network infrastructure.
The platform also includes two Mini-PIM expansion slots, allowing additional WAN and connectivity interfaces to be added when required. This modular design gives organizations flexibility to adapt the firewall to different WAN technologies and branch-network architectures.
The SRX320 delivers up to 1.9 Gbps firewall throughput and up to 336 Mbps IPsec VPN throughput. It supports up to 64,000 concurrent sessions, making it well suited to small enterprise branches that require secure Internet access, site-to-site VPN connectivity, and integrated network routing.
The appliance runs Junos OS, Juniper’s network operating system, and combines security and routing functions in a single platform. It supports IPv4 and IPv6 routing, VLANs, NAT, QoS, IPsec VPN, MPLS, dynamic routing protocols, and other enterprise networking technologies.
For security, the SRX320 supports stateful firewalling, zone-based security policies, intrusion prevention, application visibility and control, URL filtering, antivirus, antispam, and advanced threat-prevention services through applicable subscriptions and licenses.
The SRX320 also supports Secure SD-WAN and centralized management capabilities, helping organizations deploy and manage security policies and WAN connectivity across distributed branch locations.
