Description
The FortiGate FG-60F is part of Fortinet’s FortiGate 60F Series, providing an integrated networking and security platform for organizations that need secure connectivity at branch and distributed locations.
Powered by FortiOS and Fortinet’s security acceleration architecture, the FG-60F is designed to accelerate security processing while reducing the complexity and power requirements associated with traditional security appliances. The 60F Series combines firewalling, secure SD-WAN, and security services in a single platform.
The FG-60F provides 2 × Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports, 1 × Gigabit Ethernet DMZ port, 5 × Gigabit Ethernet internal ports, and 2 × Gigabit Ethernet FortiLink ports. It also includes a USB port and RJ45 console interface. The standard FG-60F does not include built-in Wi-Fi or internal SSD storage; these features are available on other variants such as the FortiWiFi 60F and FG-61F.
Fortinet rates the FG-60F for up to 10 Gbps firewall throughput, 1.4 Gbps IPS throughput, 1 Gbps NGFW throughput, and 700 Mbps threat-protection throughput. IPsec VPN throughput is rated at up to 6.5 Gbps. Actual performance varies according to traffic type, security configuration, and enabled services.
