The Huawei NetEngine AR6710-L50T2X4 is an enterprise-class access router designed to consolidate WAN connectivity, routing, security, SD-WAN, VPN, and other network services into a single scalable platform.

The router provides 48 × Gigabit Ethernet electrical ports for high-density LAN connectivity, together with 2 × Gigabit Ethernet electrical ports and 2 × 10GE optical ports for WAN connectivity. Huawei specifies that the fixed WAN ports can also be switched to LAN interfaces, providing flexibility when adapting the router to different network architectures.

The AR6710-L50T2X4 is particularly suitable for high-density branch offices and enterprise headquarters where a large number of wired LAN devices need to connect directly to the routing platform.
