Description
The Huawei NetEngine AR6140-S is an enterprise access router designed to consolidate WAN connectivity, LAN routing, security, VPN, and network management into a single compact platform. It is particularly suited to enterprise branches and small-to-medium campus environments requiring flexible wired and optical connectivity.
The router provides 5 × Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interfaces and 4 × Gigabit Ethernet SFP interfaces. The Ethernet LAN interfaces can be configured for WAN connectivity, giving administrators flexibility when designing WAN and LAN architectures. Huawei also provides four SIC expansion slots and support for up to two WSIC slots, allowing the platform to be expanded with additional service or connectivity modules.
