Description

The Huawei CloudEngine S6730-H48X6C is an enterprise-class 10 Gigabit Ethernet fixed switch designed for high-density campus networks and aggregation-layer deployments. It combines a large number of 10GE optical interfaces with high-speed 40GE/100GE uplinks, providing a scalable platform for organizations requiring high bandwidth and reliable network connectivity.

The switch provides 48 × 10GE SFP+ ports for high-density access and aggregation connectivity. It also includes 6 × QSFP28 ports, which operate at 40GE by default and can be upgraded to 100GE using the appropriate license. This configuration provides substantial uplink capacity for connecting servers, aggregation switches, core infrastructure, and high-performance network segments.

With a switching capacity of up to 2.4 Tbit/s, the S6730-H48X6C is designed to handle large volumes of network traffic while maintaining high forwarding performance. Huawei positions the S6730-H series for enterprise-class core and aggregation deployments, including environments requiring high-density 10GE connectivity.

The S6730-H48X6C uses a compact 1U chassis and supports two removable power-supply modules. The power architecture can provide 1+1 redundancy, while the removable fan modules support front-to-back airflow for data-center and telecommunications environments.
