Description
The Huawei CloudEngine S5735-L48T4X-A1 is an enterprise access switch from the S5735-L series, designed to provide high-density Gigabit connectivity with high-speed 10 Gigabit uplinks. Huawei positions the S5735-L family for campus access and Gigabit-to-the-desktop scenarios, with support for flexible Ethernet networking, security controls, and Layer 3 routing.
The switch features 48 × 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 Ethernet ports, providing Gigabit connectivity for desktop computers, printers, IP phones, wireless access points, servers, cameras, and other network devices. It additionally provides 4 × 10GE SFP+ ports for high-bandwidth connections to aggregation and core switches.
Unlike the PoE version of the S5735-L family, the S5735-L48T4X-A1 does not support PoE. It uses a built-in AC power supply and does not have removable power-supply slots or power redundancy.
The platform is based on Huawei’s VRP (Versatile Routing Platform) and supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking functions. Features include VLANs, multicast, QoS, ACLs, link aggregation, spanning-tree protocols, IPv4/IPv6 routing, and Huawei iStack intelligent stacking. It also supports network management through SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, Web management, and Huawei eSight/CampusInsight-related management capabilities.
The compact 1U chassis measures approximately 442 × 220 × 43.6 mm and weighs approximately 2.81 kg without packaging. The switch uses a built-in fan for forced-air cooling and is designed for installation in standard network cabinets and telecommunications racks.
