Description

The Huawei S5720-52P-LI-AC is an enterprise-class Layer 3 Ethernet access switch from Huawei’s S5720 series. It is designed to provide high-density Gigabit connectivity while simplifying deployment of powered network devices through integrated PoE+ functionality.

The switch provides 48 Gigabit Ethernet electrical ports, supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps connections for computers, servers, IP phones, wireless access points, printers, cameras, and other network devices. Its integrated PoE+ capability allows compatible devices to receive both network connectivity and electrical power through a single Ethernet cable, reducing installation complexity.

For uplink connectivity, the S5720-52P-LI-AC provides 4 Gigabit SFP optical ports, allowing the switch to connect to aggregation switches, core networks, fiber-optic infrastructure, or longer-distance network segments.

The switch supports enterprise Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality, including VLANs, link aggregation, STP/RSTP/MSTP, static routing, IPv6, QoS, multicast, and network security features. These capabilities allow it to be deployed as an access switch in structured enterprise and campus networks.

The S5720 series also incorporates Huawei’s CloudEngine architecture and iStack stacking technology, allowing multiple compatible switches to be logically combined into a single virtual switching system. This can simplify network management and improve redundancy and scalability.
