Description

The Cisco Catalyst C9300L-48T-4G-E is an enterprise-class access-layer switch from the Cisco Catalyst 9300L Series. It is designed to provide reliable, secure, and scalable wired connectivity for modern enterprise and campus networks.

The switch provides 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps connectivity for workstations, servers, printers, IP phones, wireless infrastructure, surveillance devices, and IoT endpoints. The 48T configuration is non-PoE, meaning connected devices must receive power independently.

For network uplinks, the C9300L-48T-4G-E includes four fixed 1 Gigabit SFP ports. These interfaces can provide fiber connectivity between the access switch and upstream aggregation or core switches. The fixed-uplink architecture makes the C9300L a practical option for organizations with standardized 1G uplink requirements.

The switch operates on Cisco IOS XE, providing comprehensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality. It supports VLANs, trunking, STP/RSTP/MST, EtherChannel, IPv4/IPv6 routing, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, multicast, and network segmentation.

The StackWise-320 architecture allows compatible Catalyst 9300L switches to be interconnected and managed as a single logical switch. It provides up to 320 Gbps of stack bandwidth, improving scalability and simplifying administration across multiple switches.

Security features include 802.1X authentication, port security, DHCP snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, ACLs, MACsec encryption, and Cisco TrustSec, helping organizations secure endpoints and control network access.

The -E suffix identifies the Network Essentials software package, providing Cisco’s core enterprise networking capabilities.
