Cisco-Catalyst C9300L-48T-4G-E
The Cisco Catalyst C9300L-48T-4G-E is a 48-port enterprise Layer 3 managed switch designed for campus access, enterprise LAN, branch, and high-density network deployments. It provides 48 × 10/100/1000BASE-T copper ports and 4 × 1G SFP uplink ports, with support for advanced routing, stacking, security, QoS, automation, and Cisco DNA capabilities.
Description
The Cisco Catalyst C9300L-48T-4G-E is part of Cisco’s Catalyst 9300 Series of enterprise-class access switches. It is designed to provide secure, high-performance wired connectivity at the access layer of enterprise and campus networks.
The switch features 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps connectivity for computers, IP phones, wireless access points, printers, surveillance devices, servers, and other Ethernet-enabled equipment. It also includes four fixed 1 Gigabit SFP uplink ports, providing fiber connectivity to aggregation or core network infrastructure.
The C9300L platform uses fixed uplink interfaces, making it a cost-effective variant of the Catalyst 9300 family for deployments that require a defined uplink configuration. The 4G designation identifies the four Gigabit SFP uplinks.
The switch runs Cisco IOS XE, providing enterprise Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking capabilities. It supports VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, EtherChannel, IPv4/IPv6 routing, static routing, OSPF, EIGRP, and other advanced enterprise networking functions.
The Catalyst 9300L also supports StackWise-320, allowing multiple compatible switches to be combined into a single logical switching system. This simplifies management and provides improved scalability and resiliency for larger deployments.
Security capabilities include 802.1X authentication, port security, DHCP snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, MACsec, access-control lists, and TrustSec, helping organizations protect users and devices connected to the campus network.
The switch supports Cisco DNA Center and Cisco’s intent-based networking architecture, providing centralized management, automation, monitoring, policy enforcement, and network assurance.
