TP-Link TL-SG1024DT
The TP-Link TL-SG1024DT is a 24-port Gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switch designed for small and medium-sized business networks, surveillance systems, wireless deployments, and general LAN expansion. It provides 24 × 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, line-rate forwarding, Auto MDI/MDIX, and three selectable operating modes: Standard Switching, VLAN Isolation, and Network Cloning.
Description
The TP-Link TL-SG1024DT is a high-performance 24-port Gigabit unmanaged switch that provides a simple and cost-effective way to expand wired network infrastructure. All 24 RJ45 interfaces support 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation, allowing the switch to connect with Gigabit computers, servers, IP cameras, wireless access points, printers, and other Ethernet devices.
Unlike conventional unmanaged switches, the TL-SG1024DT includes a physical mode-selection switch offering three operating modes: Standard Switching, VLAN Isolation, and Network Cloning. VLAN Isolation can help separate ports for security and network-management purposes, while Network Cloning is intended for applications such as surveillance and wireless networking.
The switch provides 48 Gbps switching capacity and supports line-rate forwarding across its Gigabit ports. It uses store-and-forward transmission, IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control, and backpressure for half-duplex operation to help maintain reliable network traffic handling.
Each port supports Auto MDI/MDIX, eliminating the need for crossover cables, while automatic speed and duplex negotiation simplifies installation. The TL-SG1024DT is designed for plug-and-play deployment, requiring no conventional network-management configuration.
The switch has a compact desktop-style chassis that can also be installed in a standard 19-inch rack. Its dimensions are approximately 294 × 180 × 44 mm, and it operates from 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
