The Huawei FusionServer 5885H V7 is a high-performance 4U four-socket enterprise rack server designed for mission-critical databases, virtualization, cloud computing, big-data analytics, in-memory computing, and telecommunications infrastructure. It supports 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, high-capacity DDR5 memory, extensive SAS/SATA/NVMe storage, PCIe expansion, GPU acceleration, and redundant enterprise infrastructure.
Description
The Huawei FusionServer 5885H V7 is a mission-critical 4U four-socket rack server designed for Internet Data Centers, cloud computing, enterprise applications, and telecommunications environments. Its architecture focuses on high computing performance, large storage capacity, scalability, reliability, and simplified management.
The server supports two or four 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, based on the Sapphire Rapids platform, with processors supporting up to 60 cores and 120 threads per CPU and up to 350W TDP. This makes the 5885H V7 particularly suitable for heavily parallel enterprise workloads and demanding database environments.
For memory-intensive workloads, the platform provides 64 DDR5 DIMM slots and supports high-capacity memory configurations. This large memory architecture is particularly useful for virtualization, in-memory databases, analytics, and other applications requiring substantial memory resources.
Storage flexibility is a major strength of the 5885H V7. Depending on configuration, the server can support 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drives, NVMe SSDs, and E1.S SSDs. Supported configurations include up to 52 × 2.5-inch drives, 24 front NVMe SSDs, or 36 E1.S SSDs. Two M.2 SSDs are also supported for flash storage and can use hardware RAID.
The platform provides extensive PCIe expansion, with up to 22 PCIe slots, including an OCP 3.0 FlexIO slot and 21 standard PCIe slots. This allows the installation of high-speed network adapters, storage controllers, Fibre Channel adapters, accelerators, and other enterprise expansion hardware.
For accelerated workloads, the server supports up to four double-width GPU cards or 14 single-width GPU cards in supported configurations. This enables deployment for AI inference, accelerated analytics, visualization, and other GPU-assisted workloads.
The 5885H V7 is designed for high availability, with 6 or 8 hot-swappable fan modules in N+1 redundancy and redundant hot-swappable power supplies. Supported PSU capacities range from 900W to 3000W, with 2+2 redundancy and up to 6000W of redundant power capability.
Enterprise management is provided through the integrated iBMC controller, which supports Redfish, SNMP, and IPMI 2.0, together with HTML5/VNC remote KVM. Optional FusionDirector software provides centralized lifecycle management and intelligent operations.
