Description

The Huawei FusionServer 5288 V5 is an enterprise-class 2U rack server designed for organizations that require a strong combination of computing performance, large-scale storage, memory scalability, and expansion capability within a compact data-center footprint.

The server supports two Intel Xeon Scalable processors, providing high processing performance for virtualization, databases, enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and other multi-threaded workloads. Its dual-socket architecture allows organizations to scale computing resources while maintaining a relatively compact 2U deployment.

The 5288 V5 provides extensive DDR4 ECC memory support through multiple DIMM slots, allowing the system to be configured for memory-intensive applications. Large memory configurations are particularly useful for virtualization, databases, in-memory processing, and analytics workloads.

Storage is one of the key strengths of the FusionServer 5288 V5. Depending on the configuration, the server supports a combination of 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drives, as well as NVMe SSDs on supported configurations.
