Description

The Huawei FusionServer 2288H V6 is an enterprise-class 2U rack server engineered to deliver a strong combination of computing performance, memory capacity, storage flexibility, and expansion capability. Its 2U architecture provides additional internal space compared with 1U systems, making it suitable for workloads requiring greater storage and I/O capacity.

The server supports two 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, providing high core counts and substantial multi-threaded performance for demanding enterprise workloads. The platform is designed for applications such as virtualization, databases, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and enterprise application hosting.

The 2288H V6 provides 32 DDR4 DIMM slots, supporting ECC Registered memory and high memory capacity. This allows the server to support large numbers of virtual machines, memory-intensive databases, analytics workloads, and other applications requiring substantial RAM.

Storage is highly configurable. Depending on the chassis and backplane configuration, the server supports 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drives, as well as NVMe SSDs on supported configurations. Hardware RAID controllers can be installed to provide improved storage performance and protection against drive failures.

For expansion, the 2288H V6 provides multiple PCIe slots, enabling installation of high-speed Ethernet adapters, Fibre Channel HBAs, RAID controllers, storage adapters, GPUs, and other accelerator or networking hardware.

The platform is designed for enterprise availability with features such as redundant hot-swappable power supplies, hot-swappable drives, and redundant cooling. Huawei’s iBMC management controller enables remote monitoring, configuration, diagnostics, firmware management, and hardware lifecycle administration.
