Description
The Cisco ISR4431/K9 is part of the Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers, providing a flexible and scalable platform for enterprise WAN and branch-network deployments. It integrates routing, security, application services, and network connectivity into a modular chassis.
The platform provides four integrated Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, supporting flexible LAN and WAN connectivity. Its modular design includes three Network Interface Module (NIM) slots and two Enhanced Service Module (SM-X) slots, enabling organizations to add network interfaces and specialized services as their infrastructure grows.
The ISR4431/K9 runs Cisco IOS XE, providing support for enterprise routing protocols, IPv4/IPv6, QoS, NAT, IPsec VPN, and integrated security capabilities. The platform is designed to support demanding branch workloads, including business applications, voice, video, collaboration, and secure WAN connectivity.
